India-China: China will kneel in eastern Ladakh, these 3 steps will be adopted to chase the dragon

Posted on 11th Nov 2020 02:55 pm by rohit kumar

The India-China border dispute, which started in eastern Ladakh in April, is expected to end soon. The armies of both countries have agreed to disengagement from the East Ladakh sector. The Chinese army has agreed to go back to the area where it was in April. The Dis-engagement Plan was discussed during the eighth round of Core Commander level talks between India and China held on 6 November in the Chushul sector.

Sources said that the disengagement plan from the Pangong area will start within a week of negotiations and will be completed in three steps. Under this, China Tanks would take armored vehicles away from the frontline area to the border. As per the discussions, tanks and armored vehicles were to be taken back within a day. The talks at the Corps Commander level were held on 6 November, with Joint Secretary Navin Srivastava and Brigadier Ghai of the Ministry of External Affairs.

In the second step on the northern shore of Pangong Lake, both armies must withdraw 30 percent of their troops daily for three days. The Indian side will come closer to Dhan Singh Thapa post, while China will go back towards the eastern direction of Finger 8.

What will both forces do in the third and last step?

In the third and last step, the armies of the two countries must return from the southern shore and frontline of Pangong Lake. It also includes the border near Chushul and the Rejang La area. During the talks, it has also been decided in both countries that they will also monitor the disengagement process. Under this, she will use Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in addition to meetings.

India moving ahead cautiously

The Indian Army is watching every move of China carefully. After the violent confrontation in the Galvan Valley in June this year, there has been a significant loss of trust with China on the Indian side. In this confrontation, 20 soldiers of India were killed, while many soldiers of China were also killed. Since then, India and China have been constantly talking to each other. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's most trusted team is engaged in talks with China. NSA Ajit Doval, CDS General Bipin Rawat, Army Chief General Mukund Narwane, Air Chief RKS Bhadauria have taken many important steps.
