Actor Vikrant Massey is celebrating the success of '12th Fail' these days. In this film, Vikrant worked with Vidhu Vinod Chopra for the first time. Made with a low budget, this film has been quite successful at the box office. Not only this but '12th Fail' has also been nominated for Oscar by India in the independent category. Vikrant recently spoke openly to the media about this film and also shared his experiences during the shooting of the film.

Cried while playing the character of 'Manoj Sharma'

Vikrant has played the character of 'Manoj Sharma' in '12th Fail'. This is a character who has a lot of struggle in his life. Facing so many difficulties, Manoj passes the UPSC exam. Vikrant said, 'Many times it used to happen that Vinod Sir would say cut and I would keep crying. I could feel Manoj's pain from inside. His circumstances shocked me.

The actor was under stress even after the shooting of 'A Death in the Gunj'

Continuing his point, Vikrant further says, 'Many times it happens that we connect with the characters of the film while playing them. The same thing happened to me while doing the film 'A Death in the Gunj'. After doing that film I went into depression. I felt I needed to talk to someone and I went to therapy sessions. You can't tell your parents about this, because they will get upset. 'A Death in the Gunj' was a very dark film and I was very upset after doing that film.

Vikrant's work front

The year 2023 has been very good for Vikrant. His film '12th Fail' released this year has been a hit. His work has been highly appreciated by the audience and film critics. His film 'Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba' is likely to be released in 2024. Apart from this, if we talk about personal life, Vikrant is going to become a father this year. These days, Vikrant is spending a lot of time with his wife Sheetal Thakur.
