The Indian team's schedule is going to be very busy before the T20 World Cup is to be held in October. Actually, in June, Team India will go to Ireland for a two-match T20 series. This information was given by the Ireland Cricket Board through social media. Apart from India, teams from New Zealand and South Africa will also play the series against Ireland.

After IPL 2022, Team India will tour Ireland in the last week of June and both T20 matches will be played in Malahide on 26 and 28 June. The Indian team is currently preparing for the Test series after winning the T20 series against Sri Lanka.

India will visit Ireland after 4 years

Team India will tour Ireland after 4 years. Earlier in the year 2018, India went to Ireland for a 2-match T20 series and won the series 2-0. Apart from this, in 2007 India toured Ireland for the first time and played the only T20 of both teams, which was won by the Indian team by 9 wickets.

Will India's B team go to Ireland?

Let us tell you that before leaving for the Ireland tour, South Africa will visit India for a 5-match T20 series. All matches of this series will be played from June 9 to June 15. Since India has to go on a tour of England after Ireland, many star players of Team India can also get rest for the Ireland series.

Players will go from Ireland to England

After the tour of Ireland, Team India will leave for the tour of England. Last year in 2021, Team India went to play a 5-match Test series on the tour of England, but the last Test was postponed due to Covid-19. India was 2-1 in the Test series before the series was cancelled. In 2022, Team India will start the England tour with that last Test only. If India is successful in winning the 5th Test, then 15 years will win the Test series on ENG soil.

Cricket fans are eagerly waiting for this tour. After the Test series, a series of 2 T20 and 3 ODI matches will also be played between the two countries.
