Assassination of former Chief Justice of High Court in Pakistan: Terrorists shoot outside mosque in Balochistan; 42 terrorist attacks in a month

The former Chief Justice of the High Court was shot dead in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. The attackers shot Muhammad Noor Maskanzai outside a mosque in Kharan district on Friday.

 

Kharan SP said – Maskanzai was badly injured in the attack. He was then brought to the hospital, where he died during treatment. Maskanzai, in his landmark decision, had called riba (interest) based banking against Sharia.

 

Balochistan CM expressed grief

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudus Bijenjo expressed grief over the death of Maskanzai. He said – Maskanzai was a fearless judge, his service cannot be forgotten. Terrorists cannot scare the country with this cowardly attack.

 

Quetta Bar Association (QBA) President Ajmal Khan Kakkar has also condemned the killing of Maskanzai. He said- Every citizen of Pakistan is saddened by the death of Maskanzai. Khan has demanded the arrest of the attackers and strict action against them.

 

There was an explosion in the local leader's car on Friday

Three people were killed and four were injured in a car blast in Balochistan on Friday. The attack was carried out in the vehicle of a local leader in the Kabu area of ​​Mastung district. In the last few months, many questions have arisen regarding the security system in Pakistan.

 

Record terrorist attacks in September

Pakistan's State Law Minister Shahadat Hussain has also spoken of increasing terrorist attacks. According to the report of the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies, terrorist attacks have increased in September compared to August.

 

According to an Islamabad-based think tank, the highest number of terrorist attacks was recorded in September this year. The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is behind these attacks. There have been 42 terror attacks in Pakistan in September. In August there were 31 attacks, in which 37 people were killed and 55 people were injured.

 

According to this think tank, violent attacks in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan have increased by 101%.
