India's eye on AY.4.2 variant of Corona, Health Minister Hole - investigation is going on

On the approval of Covaxin from the World Health Organization, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that WHO has a system in which there is a technical committee, which has approved Kovaxin, while the second committee is meeting today. Covaxin will be approved based on today's meeting. Regarding the new variant AY 4.2 of the coronavirus, he said that a team is investigating this new version. Teams from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) are tasked with studying and analyzing various types.

 

On the Prime Minister's Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, the Health Minister said that in the coming days, the country will be able to fight any epidemic. The Union Minister said that 64,000 crores will be spent in 5 years on PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission. The goal is to have good laboratories at the block, district, regional and national levels. In this scheme, an average of 90-100 crores will be spent in a district in the next 5 years.

 

During this, the Health Minister said that on health infrastructure, we have decided to set up 1,50,000 health and wellness centers for the treatment of diseases like cancer, diabetes, and primary level screening. More than 79,000 centers have been inaugurated in the country. He further said that PM Modi has sanctioned 157 new medical colleges...the seats for medical students have almost doubled...we have worked with a holistic approach to ensure the affordable treatment to the people.

 

PM Modi launched the 'PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission' scheme on Monday. The PM had termed it as part of the high-level preparedness to strengthen the health infrastructure across the country and prevent future epidemics. According to the government, under this scheme, health infrastructure will be developed in every district, which will make them self-reliant. With this, the entire capacity will be developed through increased investment. Under this scheme, the government will spend Rs 64,180 crore for 5 years.
