Sehwag has named Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Hardik Pandya as the best captain based on performance in league matches. Pandya had no experience of captaining in the IPL before this season. In a conversation with Cricbuzz, Sehwag said that Pandya has impressed him a lot. He said, \'I did not think that Hardik Pandya could do such a great captaincy. But unlike the way he is known for his aggressive batting, he takes decisions in a very cold mood while captaining.

 

He further said, \'I am not saying this because Gujarat has won a lot of matches this season or Ashish Nehra is my friend. Hardik Pandya\'s captaincy has impressed me a lot. As a captain, you have to make the right decisions at the right time, especially when your team is bowling. As a captain, it is challenging to make changes in bowling or Select the field in the right place.
