External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with UN chief Antonio Guterres on Thursday. Jaishankar tweeted that in the meeting with UN chief Antonio Guterres, there was a discussion about the Ukraine crisis as well as the major events taking place in Afghanistan and Myanmar. Jaishankar said that the idea of providing food and energy security to Ukraine in this crisis was shared.

He had clearly said that the issue of human rights was not a topic of discussion during the India-US 2+2 ministerial meeting. Taking a tough stand, Jaishankar had said that people are entitled to have an opinion about India.
