Doda Police has released sketches of four terrorists. These terrorists are roaming in the upper areas of Bhaderwah, Thathri, and Gandoh and are involved in terrorist activities. Jammu and Kashmir Police have announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh for providing information related to these terrorists.

Four terrorists seen in Chochru Galan of Basantgarh, search operation intensified

After the terrorist attacks in Reasi, Doda, and Kathua, terrorist activities are once again increasing in Chochru Galan of Basantgarh. Four terrorists were reported to have been seen in the area on Wednesday as well. Police and the army have tightened security. Also, search operations have been intensified to nab the terrorists. According to sources, the area is hilly and forested. Also, there are more than 50 camps of Gujjar-Bakrwals, due to which the forests are being searched with caution.

 

One and a half months ago, a VDG member was martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Basantgarh. Since then, search operations have been carried out in this area by the army, police, CRPF, and SOG. Now once again four terrorists have been seen in Chochru Galan. Due to this, there is a possibility that the terrorists have been hiding in Chochru Galan of Basantgarh for one and a half months. The area is hilly and has dense forest, under the cover of which the terrorists are hiding.

 

There is information on four terrorists being seen in Chochru Galan. The search operation has been intensified. Security forces have also cordoned off the area from Kathua and Bhaderwah. Security has been tightened on all roads. It takes 4 to 5 hours to reach Chochru Galan from Basantgarh on foot. The forest is so dense that nothing can be seen. Given the recent terrorist attacks, the search operation has been intensified along with tightening the security arrangements.
