Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has signed a new contract which will keep him with the current Premier League champions until 2019.

Hart, who joined City from Shrewsbury Town in 2006, became first choice keeper in 2010-11 season.

"I'm really happy, I've been here a long time now and I want to keep that going," Hart told City's official website Friday, reports Xinhua.

He has since helped City win two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and League Cup in his 276 appearances for the club.
