Just a few days ago, news broke that Govinda had been replaced by Manoj Bajpayee in the sequel to the 2006 superhit film "Bhagam Bhag."

The sequel to "Bhagam Bhag" will feature the collaboration of Manoj Bajpayee and Akshay Kumar. Following this news, Govinda's fans were furious on social media, calling Manoj Bajpayee unfit for the role. Actor Paresh Rawal, one of the film's lead actors, has now reacted to Govinda's replacement.

What is the reason for Govinda's replacement?

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, actor Paresh Rawal revealed that he will be playing a double role in the sequel to "Bhagam Bhag." He also confirmed that Manoj Bajpayee will be a part of the film. The pairing of Govinda and Akshay Kumar had everyone laughing. When Paresh Rawal was asked about the collaboration between Manoj Bajpayee and Akki, he replied, "It's going to be a very different and unique combination."

Paresh Rawal was also asked about the reason for replacing Govinda in the sequel of "Bhagam Bhag," to which he replied, "I honestly have no idea. However, we're going to miss Govinda a lot."

Priyadarshan directed "Bhagam Bhag."

Released in 2006, "Bhagam Bhag," starring Akshay Kumar, Govinda, and Paresh Rawal, received a positive response from critics and audiences. The story follows a theater group traveling abroad for a show, but three of them become embroiled in a major crime. Every scene, from the dialogue to the dialogue, remains etched in the hearts of audiences even today.

The movie was directed by Priyadarshan, who is now set to helm "Hera Pheri 3" and "Bhoot Bangla" with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. However, it is not yet confirmed whether he will also direct the "Bhagam Bhag" sequel.
