Apart from this, Mahanadi Coal Field Limited has also made a tweet regarding the dispatch of 62 rakes full of coal from Talcher. In a tweet, MCL said that they have dispatched around 5.34 lakh tonnes of coal, out of which about 4.25 lakh tonnes have been sent to power plants.
The monthly report of the Ministry of Coal shows that 51.70 MT of coal was produced in September 2021, as compared to 39.48 MT in the same period in 2019 and 38.90 MT in the same period in 2020. According to the data, 59.80 metric tonnes of coal was dispatched in September 2021, which was much higher than the year 2019 and 2020 in the same period.
