Fans furious over misbehavior with Sunil Chhetri, WB Governor La Ganesan pushed during the trophy ceremony

Bengaluru FC won the title for the first time by defeating Mumbai City FC 2-1 in the final match of the Durand Cup on Sunday. After the match, when Bengaluru captain Sunil Chhetri arrived at the trophy ceremony, West Bengal Governor La Ganesan misbehaved with him. The video of this incident is becoming very viral on social media and the fans are seen as very angry with this act of the governor. In the video, Sunil is seen pushing Sunil Chhetri to pose for a picture with the La Ganesan trophy.

After these videos went viral, the fans are very angry and lashed out on social media.

 

Talking about the competition, Shiv Shakti gave Bengaluru a great start and scored the first goal in the 11th minute itself. Shiv dashed the Mumbai fielders to the goalkeeper, who had come to some distance from the goal. Taking advantage of this, Shiva brought the ball over the goalkeeper's head into the net and gave the team a 1-0 lead.

 

Mumbai City bounced back after some time and Apulia converted a free kick in the 30th minute. After a 1-1 draw in the first half, Costa scored in the 61st minute which proved to be the deciding factor. Costa guided captain Chhetri's corner kick to direct the ball into the net as Bengaluru FC registered a 2-1 win.
