
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday greeted the government and people of the Kyrgyz Republic on their 31st Independence Day.

India and Kyrgyzstan share warm and friendly relations in all fields.
Recently, in June, Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi visited Kyrgyzstan and held talks with Foreign Minister Kulubev.
Lekhi took stock of the status and prospects of India-Kyrgyz Republic relations with Foreign Minister Zeinbek Kulubev, tweeted Lekhi. We also had fruitful exchanges of views on contemporary issues of regional and international importance.
Lekhi also had fruitful discussions with Azamat Zamankulov, Minister of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy. The signing of the Cultural Exchange Program for 2022-2026 will further enrich India-Kyrgyz Republic's cultural cooperation, he said.
