Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday virtually inaugurated the Indian Space Association (ISpA). On this occasion, PM Modi said that the decision taken on Air India shows our commitment and seriousness. Be it satellite tracking or navigation technology in the homes, roads, and other infrastructure projects of the poor... they are helping to make governance transparent. He said that today if India is ahead in the top digital economy of the world, it is because we have made data accessible even among the poorest of the poor.
The Prime Minister said that India has to be made a new center of innovation. He said that India is one of the few countries which have end-to-end technology. We have made efficiency an integral part of the brand. Be it the process of space exploration or the technology of space... we have to explore it continuously. As a partner, Industries is supporting young inventors and will continue to do so.
The space sector is the medium of progress for 130 crore countrymen
PM Modi said that we have seen how the trend of ruling space and space in the 20th century divided the countries of the world. Now in the 21st century, India has to ensure that space plays an important role in connecting the world. He said that the Indian space sector is a great medium for the progress of 130 crore countrymen. Better mapping, imaging, and connectivity for us in the space sector i.e. common human beings! For us, there is better speed from shipment to delivery for the space sector i.e., entrepreneur.
PM Modi remembers Jai Prakash Narayan-Nanaji Deshmukh
The Prime Minister also remembered Jai Prakash Narayan and Nanaji Deshmukh. He said that today is the birth anniversary of two great sons of the country, Bharat Ratna Jai Prakash Narayan Ji and Bharat Ratna Nanaji Deshmukh. Both these great personalities have played a big role in giving direction to post-independence India. The founding members of ISpA include Larsen & Toubro, Nelco (Tata Group), OneWeb, Bharti Airtel, MapmyIndia, Walchandnagar Industries, Anant Technology Limited. Its other members include Godrej, Agista-BST Aerospace Pvt Ltd, BEL, Centum Electronics, and Maxor India.
ISRO's space missions were delayed due to Corona
