Pakistan will play again within 48 hours: clash with New Zealand in T20 World Cup, PAK's semi-final entry is almost certain if it wins today

Posted on 26th Oct 2021 03:08 pm by rohit kumar

The match between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played in the T20 World Cup from 7.30 pm on Tuesday. This match of Group-2 in Super-12 is being held in Sharjah. Pakistan had won their first match by 10 wickets over Team India on Sunday. That is, the PAK team will come to play the second match within 48 hours. If Pakistan's team wins this match, then its entry in the semi-finals will be almost decided. After this, Pakistan has to play Afghanistan, Scotland, and Namibia. It should not be difficult for Pakistan to win two of these matches.

India can benefit from Pakistan's victory

In Super-12, two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The Indian team has already lost to Pakistan. The upcoming matches of Pakistan are considered easy. In this sense, India and New Zealand can compete for second place in Group 2. If New Zealand's team loses to Pakistan, then this result can be beneficial for India.

Pakistan is eating salt from New Zealand

New Zealand recently canceled its tour of Pakistan citing security reasons. The team had decided to return to New Zealand a few minutes before the first ODI. Since then the Pakistan team and its people have been eating sour from New Zealand. In this sense, this match can be very high voltage. Pakistani players had reacted in anger to this. Pakistani players would now like to take the same anger out on the field as well.

Kiwi team was defeated in Bangladesh

The performance of New Zealand on the Bangladesh tour was not good. The team had to face defeat in the T20 series there. However, the game of the Kiwi team has always been excellent in ICC tournaments. However, it remains to be seen how New Zealand performs against Asian teams in UAE conditions.

I Will keep an eye on Shaheen's first over again

Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed Rohit Sharma in the first over of the match against India. Shaheen has already taken wickets in the first over 22 times in 62 T20 International innings.

Mitchell Santner will be eyeing the New Zealand team. Coming round the wicket, he can trouble any batting order with his left-arm spin bowling. The way Pakistan's team uses Imad Wasim in the power play, New Zealand can also bowl in 6 overs before Santner.

Team News: Little hope of change in Pakistan's playing-11

Pakistan had won a landslide victory against India. The team can retain its winning combination. In fast bowling, either Ferguson and Jamieson can get a chance.

pitch and conditions

The match will take place on the new pitch in Sharjah. The pitches here are staying slow and low. Dew will also play a role in the second innings, so the team winning the toss may decide to bowl first.

Status matter

Pakistan won 3 out of 5 matches in New Zealand's T20 World Cup.

Team Saudi is just one step away from 100 T20 International wickets.
