In such a situation, the industry has now submitted a long list of demands to the government. In a meeting with Union Minister of Labor and Employment Santosh Gangwar, 12 employer groups linked to the industry have demanded to limit the work to 12 hours and to suspend the labor law for 2-3 years.

>> Provide electricity at a cheaper rate.
>> Industry has suggested to make container and non-container zones instead of making red, orange and green zones.
>> The industry said that all economic activities should be started in non-container areas.
