Kya Hai Kahaani: Love Hostel is the story of an honor killing, where Ashu Shokeen (Vikrant Massey) and Jyoti Dilawar (Sanya Malhotra) fall in love with each other and run away from their family members, and get married. After marriage, the couple takes the help of the police, after which they are sent to live in a hostel for security. Jyoti\'s family sends Viraj Singh Dagar (Bobby Deol) to bring the couple back home, and the girl\'s family themselves can put their daughter to death. Can Dagar catch Ashu-Jyoti? And who survives in the end? You will have to watch the film to know this.
What is special and where is the lack: Apart from the characters in the film, its theme is special, the issue of honor killing has been raised in the film. There are many small such scenes in the film, which show the mirror of society. Like having a gun at a Muslim butcher\'s house and the story behind it. Apart from this, how a father wants the happiness of his daughter, but due to the conservative family thinking and fear of the society, is unable to gather the courage to do so late. While the theme of the film seems to be a sensitive and important issue, on the other hand, its story proves to be weak. The story gets loose not once but several times and small loopholes are visible where the story could have been tightened.
Acting and Direction: The film is based on the Haryanvi belt, so its characters also seem to speak Hindi and Haryanvi. While Bobby Deol\'s look is quite spectacular, on the other hand, his low speaking style and right grip on Haryanvi make his character special. Bobby has worked hard on his character, which is visible in the character, from the expression of his eyes to his speech movements. At the same time, Vikrant Massey has also appeared in his character, although Sanya Malhotra has proved to be a bit l in comparison to these two. The film is directed by Shankar Raman, which doesn\'t look anything very special and out of place. Nothing looks very different in the film, which can be praised a lot.
