Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Commissioner and DM will be held responsible for negligence in resolving the cases of transfer of name, inheritance, family division, and measurement. Expressing strong displeasure over the delay and releasing the report of tehsil-wise protest, he said that the trend of "date after date" will not be accepted at all. If action is taken against Accountant, Revenue Inspector, etc. then Divisional Commissioner and DM will also be held accountable. Expressing displeasure over the incident of molestation of a student in Bareilly, he directed to strictly control the miscreants.
The Chief Minister was reviewing the preparations and law and order given the upcoming festivals through video conferencing on Thursday. During this, he took in-depth stock of the preparations made for the convenience and safety of the devotees in the major Devi temples during Shardiya Navratri. Said that the fourth phase of Mission Shakti Abhiyan is going to start on Shardiya Navratri, it is the responsibility of all of you to make it successful. The next month is very sensitive given the festivals. Every officer including the beat constable, the light in charge, and the police captain took to the streets. Some chaotic elements may try to spoil the atmosphere. Police will have to remain alert. The festival also faces problems due to obscene songs and obscene DJ music. This should not be allowed.
The Israel-Palestine dispute also mentioned
Given the Israel-Palestine dispute, the Chief Minister said that all police captains should immediately communicate with religious leaders in their areas. Any activity contrary to the views of the Government of India will not be accepted in this matter. Be it social media or any religious place, no crazy statements, etc. should be issued. If there is any malicious attempt by anyone to do so, action should be taken immediately.
Do not give posting on recommendation
He told all the DMs and police captains that every posting should be based on merit only. If field posting of anyone has been done anywhere on the recommendation or under someone's pressure, it will be taken seriously. Releasing the report of the performance in IGRS, the Chief Minister said that the officers are deployed for the public, meeting the public and solving their problems should be the top priority. The officer/employee posted in the field who is not able to do this should leave the field posting immediately.
