Akshay Kumar was one of the first celebrities to step out and cast his vote during the elections. After casting his vote, the actor flaunted his inked finger. He was also seen wishing the paps good morning. Apart from this, well-known film director Kabir Khan has also cast his vote.

When actor Akshay Kumar reached the polling booth, he was wearing a black shirt with beige pants. The actor, who reached the polling booth early in the morning, was seen getting out of his luxury car and confidently walking towards the booth. Akshay also wished the paps good morning.

One of the leading stars of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar is now officially an Indian citizen. During a summit this week, he spoke openly about giving up his Canadian citizenship last year and getting back his Indian passport. Known for his patriotic image, Akshay clarified that it was a personal and planned move.

Despite having Canadian citizenship, Akshay always felt deeply connected to India. The actor shared in an interview, 'I am an Indian by heart, mind and soul.' He said that he had announced many years ago that he would take Indian citizenship. However, the process took time and I got my passport exactly on 14 or 15 August last year.'

 

Rajkumar Rao-Ali Fazal also cast their vote.
