Maharashtra: Shiv Sena MLA furious over the poor quality of food, slaps employee

Shiv Sena MLA Santosh Bangar slapped an employee who was preparing a mid-day meal in Maharashtra's Hingoli district. He alleged that poor-quality food was being served to the laborers. Video of the incident that took place on Monday is doing the rounds on social media, in which Bangar is seen slapping a worker twice in a kitchen where the mid-day meal was being prepared. He is seen questioning the employee about the food.

 

 

The Shiv Sena MLA later told reporters that the ingredients used in the food being prepared in the kitchen for the mid-day meal scheme were of very poor quality. Bangar, MLA of Shiv Sena's faction led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, claimed it was a lot of government funds. They are playing with the lives of poor people. The state government should take action against the culprits.
