Major terrorist attack plot in Kashmir failed, arms consignment recovered from Kupwara

Before the start of the annual pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath, terrorist organizations are hatching a big conspiracy to create an atmosphere of panic in the Kashmir Valley. The threat letter was written by The Resistance Front, an affiliate of Lashkar-e-Taiba, which is becoming increasingly viral on the Internet media, also points to this. At the same time, our alert security forces have also invited the devotees on the pilgrimage without any fear, without caring about these ghouls. Taking an example of their vigilance, Kupwara Police and Army have recovered a huge cache of arms during a search operation in the Hajam Mohalla Tad Karnah area.

The recovery of such a large quantity of weapons indicates that overground workers working for terrorist organizations were planning attacks in different areas of the Kashmir Valley with the help of these weapons. The timely action of the police and army has destroyed the terrorist designs. On the other hand, DGP Dilbag Singh while congratulating the police and the army instructed them to fill up the vigil in the same way. He said that our slight negligence can prove to be costly for the general public.

According to the police, they had received information about seeing suspicious activities in Hajam Mohalla. The police team that arrived with the army started the search operation in the area. Meanwhile, after searching a place, the security forces found a suspicious bag, which lost their senses as soon as they opened it. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition including 10 pistols, 17 pistol magazines, 54 pistol rounds, and 5 grenades were recovered from the bag. Seeing the weapons, it was evident that in the coming days the terrorists had planned to intensify the attack with the help of overground workers.

Let us tell you that the overground workers work for the terrorists who live among the common people. Attacking crowded areas with pistols and grenades, they take advantage of the stampede and flee. It is proving difficult for the security forces to catch these allies living among the common people. However, after such attacks have increased in the last few months, the security forces have asked their information systems to keep an eye on suspicious activities in their respective areas, which is also reaping the benefits. Not only this, with the help of CCTV cameras installed in commercial establishments and main markets, it is getting easier to nab them.
