Alexander Drozdov, another prisoner in the report, said that many of the Russian prisoners sent by Wagner to the front lines in Ukraine were drug addicts and lunatics.” They refuse to obey orders. Putin gave the command to the highest officer of the army

Putin has changed the commander for his invasion of Ukraine. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu named Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov as the new commander for the operation in Ukraine. Valery Russo is the highest-ranking officer general of the Russian Army. He is the Chief of General Staff. He is in this position since 2012. He will replace Sergei Surovikin.
