Rajya Sabha 12 MP Suspended: In the case of creating ruckus in the last session, 12 MPs from Rajya Sabha including Congress, Shiv Sena, and TMC were suspended from the winter session on Monday. After the suspension, many MPs have objected to this decision. The opposition parties have convened a meeting regarding this decision tomorrow, in which further steps to be taken will be discussed. Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi is among the 12 MPs who have been suspended. He says that an attempt has been made to suppress the voice of the opposition by deciding on suspension.
Priyanka Chaturvedi said, "If there is an accused, then they are heard from the district judge to the Supreme Court. Lawyers are also provided for them. Sometimes government officials are sent to know the side of the accused. Here our site has to be heard. Haven't even heard." He said that if you see the CCTV footage, then you will know how the male marshals were pushing and shoving the women MPs. All this aside and your decision aside? What kind of unparliamentary behavior is this?

In this meeting, the further steps to be taken on the decision of suspension will be discussed. Although TMC is not included in this joint statement of the opposition, while two out of 12 MPs of TMC are also suspended.
After the suspension, Congress MP Ripun Bora said, "Yes, we had protested. We had protested for the farmers, the poor and it is our duty as an MP to raise the voice of the oppressed and deprived people. If I don't raise my voice, where will I raise it?"
Ripun Bora termed this decision as undemocratic. "This is completely undemocratic, it is the murder of democracy and the Constitution," he said. He termed the suspension decision as one-sided. He said that no consultation was held with the opposition parties.
