VK Singh, who was present at Regejo Airport, has tweeted a video of Harjot. In which it is written that Harjot is in safe hands and is returning to the country by C-17 aircraft.
Indian diplomats are present with Harjot. He has been transferred to an ambulance from the Polish Red Cross at the border. This information has been given by the President of the Indian World Forum, Puneet Singh Chandok.
Medical students petition in Supreme Court
Students who returned from Ukraine have filed public interest litigation in the Supreme Court. In which he has demanded that he should be allowed to complete the course in India. The petition has been filed by Parthvi Ahuja and Prati Singh. They argue that during the current situation, doubts are hovering over their studies, so their problem can be solved by allowing them to complete medical studies as per India's education system.
Set up 4 buses for Sumi's students
Indian students stranded in the city of Sumi on the Russia-Ukraine border are being brought in buses to Budapest, Hungary via Poltava. From here they will be airlifted to India. For this, 4 buses with 50-50 seats each have been installed. This information was given by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri to news agency ANI in Budapest.
He told- I am talking to the control room in Delhi. Four buses of 50-50 capacity are en route to Poltava to rescue Indian nationals stranded in Sumi. There are other arrangements like food, arrangements have also been made. Depending on the situation, further plans will be made from Poltava. As of now, all the arrangements are fine.
Meanwhile, in the early hours of this morning, a flight carrying 160 Indians evacuated from Ukraine reached Delhi from Budapest in Hungary.
15900 Indians have returned home so far
Under Operation Ganga, 1200 students will come to India on Monday by 7 flights. On Sunday, 2135 Indians returned home from 11 flights. According to the Civil Aviation Ministry, 15 thousand 900 Indian citizens have returned to the country so far. Operation Ganga began on 22 February.
