India won the T20 World Cup for the first time in 2007 under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This victory of the team was historic. India defeated Pakistan in the final. One of the heroes of this victory was fast bowler Joginder Sharma. Dhoni has recently met Joginder.

 

Joginder bowled the last over in the final match played against Pakistan and defended 13 runs. However, Joginder's career did not last long and he was soon out of the team. Currently, Joginder is a DSP with the Haryana Police.

If we look at Joginder's career, he played four ODIs and the same number of T20 matches for India. Joginder took four wickets in T20. He took one wicket in ODIs. Joginder played his last match for India on 24 January in the T20 World Cup final. After this, he did not return to the team. He played a total of 77 matches in first class and took 297 wickets. He has taken 115 wickets in List-A. He has taken 61 wickets in T20.
