
Gurgaon, March 12 (IANS) Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav was discharged from Medanta - The Medicity hospital here on Thursday after six days of treatment, doctors said.
The former union minister and Uttar Pradesh chief minister was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital early on Saturday (March 7) after he showed symptoms of swine flu.
"Yadav, 75, was discharged around 11.15 a.m. after he recovered well. He was looking fit and happy," a senior doctor, who did not wish to be named told IANS.
Yadav's family members and some senior party leaders were present at the time of discharge.
He was treated for swine flu but on Monday, doctors said reports revealed that he was not suffering from it.
Doctors said there was infection in his chest and abdomen.
