US President Joe Biden on Friday discussed the Russian attack on Ukraine and sanctions on Russia via video conferencing with Chinese President Xi Jinping. At the same time, Biden has also warned Russia of dire consequences if it receives any kind of Chinese aid.

 

Biden reiterated that US policy on Taiwan has not changed and will continue to oppose any unilateral change in the current situation. The two leaders also agreed on the importance of maintaining communication channels between China and the US.
