Taking major action in the NEET paper leak case, the CBI today raided seven places in Gujarat. The CBI raided seven places in four districts of Gujarat, Anand, Kheda, Ahmedabad, and Godhra, on Saturday morning. Earlier, the CBI had raided a school in Jharkhand on Friday and arrested the school's principal and vice-principal.

Three arrests from Hazaribagh

CBI officials said that Hazaribagh-based Oasis School Principal Ehsanul Haq was made the city coordinator of Hazaribagh for the medical entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 5. At the same time, the school's vice-principal Imtiaz Alam was appointed as the supervisor of NTA and the center coordinator of Oasis School. The CBI also questioned five more people from the district in the NEET paper leak case. Officials said on Saturday that journalist Jamaluddin Ansari has been arrested for allegedly helping the principal and vice-principal.

CBI has registered six FIRs

CBI has registered six FIRs in the alleged NEET paper leak case. One of these FIRs has been registered by the CBI itself on the complaint of the Union Education Ministry. At the same time, five FIRs were registered by the state governments, which are also being investigated by the CBI now. CBI is investigating one case each from Bihar, Gujarat and three cases from Rajasthan related to NEET paper leak. It is worth mentioning that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is conducted by NTA. Based on which admission is given in MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH-related courses in medical in government or private colleges.

This year on May 5, the NEET exam was conducted at 4,750 centers in 571 cities across the country. More than 23 lakh students had taken this exam, including 14 foreign students. Serious allegations like paper leaks are being made regarding the NEET entrance exam. However, the government is denying it. The matter also went to the Supreme Court, but the Supreme Court has also refused to ban counseling. The opposition is creating a ruckus in the Parliament on this issue and is demanding an investigation into the NEET paper leak. After growing protests, the government registered the first FIR in the NEET paper leak case on 23 June.
