In its strategy, the ICMR on Saturday amended that all patients hospitalized with complaints of serious respiratory illness, difficulty breathing and fever and cough will be screened for Kovid-19 infection.
The ICMR said that the corona test should be done if someone comes in contact with the corona or shows signs of corona. On coming in contact with an infected person, get your corona test done within the next 5-14 days.

In the last 14 days people from foreign travels were kept under surveillance. Symptoms of corona have been found in these people. Corona is in Stage-2 in the country, as of now there is no case of stage-3 i.e. community infection.
ICMR informed that if a case is related to community dispersal, then the testing rules will be changed further. The advisory is being reviewed periodically for testing. It is being reviewed by the National Task Force headed by VK Paul. VK Paul is also a member of NITI Aayog.
