New Delhi. The second wave of Kovid-19, a pandemic spread due to Coronavirus infection in the country, has caused panic. Demand for Remdesivir has increased significantly in most parts of the country, including the most infected state of Maharashtra. Because of this, where the government has recently banned the export of Remdesivir, now it has decided to increase the production and supply of Remdesivir injection in the country and reduce its price.

The relatives of hospitalized patients protested outside the District Collector Office in Pune for not receiving Remdesivir injection. "The hospital has said that we will have to bring the injections," said a woman looking for injections for her family hospitalized for 3 days. Additional District Collector of Pune, Vijay Deshmukh said on Thursday, 'We have a demand of around 45,000 injections, we are distributing the stock of injections equally. Things will get better in four to five days. According to the Kovid protocol, only serious patients have to be given Remdesivir, according to the protocol there is more demand. '
