Pakistan engaged in cyber war against India, propaganda spreading in Gulf countries

Indian security agencies have found India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeting in some social media messages related to Pakistani intelligence. According to an assessment submitted to the government on Wednesday, the effort aims to generate anti-India sentiment on social media, especially in the Gulf countries. Also, to propagate that India is an Islamophobia country.

The report said that Pakistan is actually trying to bring scholarly relations between India and a close ally in the Gulf by attacking PM Modi who has invested heavily to deepen India's relations with the Middle East. The assessment by North Block includes a long list of troll handles in Pakistan and Gulf countries that were being used to achieve this objective.

Social media messages targeting the country did not come for the first time. Security officials noted a similar pattern last year, when Jammu and Kashmir was placed under a communication lockdown last August. A Central Government official told Hindustan Times that what is new in this case, but in the past, the leading personalities in Gulf countries have been used for this propaganda. On Tuesday, #ShameOnModi on Twitter was trended from #ChaosInIndia Pakistan a day earlier.

Let me tell you that the whole world including India and Pakistan is struggling with corona but still Pakistan is not deterred by such antics. New cases of Corona virus infection in India have seen a slight decrease today compared to Thursday. In the last 12 hours, 922 new cases of corona virus have been reported, while 29 people have died. According to the Health Ministry data released on Thursday, the number of people infected with the corona virus in the country has increased to 21393. At the same time, the death toll from this dangerous Covid-19 epidemic has reached 681. There are 16454 active cases out of a total of 21393 cases of corona virus.
