In this statement of America, Taiwan's Foreign Minister Joseph Wu thanked America and said that China is dreaming of capturing Taiwan like the Taliban. There has been no response from China in this regard. It is to be known that after the capture of the Taliban in Afghanistan, China is rapidly normalizing relations with it. China wants assurances from the Taliban that Uighur Muslim extremist groups operating in Xinjiang should not use Afghan soil.

The legislation was approved by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) before the House.
