Pakistan PM's letter to Modi: Shahbaz Sharif expressed his desire to work together with India, also mentions the Kashmir issue

After the change of power in Pakistan, the relations with India are also showing signs of change. Pakistan's new Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has written a letter to PM Modi expressing his desire for a peaceful solution to the disputed issues of both countries. According to media reports, this letter of Shahbaz has come in response to the congratulatory message of PM Modi.

 

Shahbaz thanked PM Modi and wrote – The goal of peace and stability in the region and all disputed issues including Jammu and Kashmir can be resolved peacefully. Peaceful relations between India and Pakistan are essential for the socio-economic development of the citizens.

In response, Shahbaz Sharif thanked PM Modi and said, 'Pakistan wants peaceful and cooperative relations with India. Many issues between the two countries, including Kashmir, need to be resolved peacefully. Everyone knows the sacrifice that Pakistan has made in the fight against terror.

Shahbaz Sharif has often talked about working together with Pakistani Punjab and Indian Punjab. He has been the Chief Minister of Punjab province of Pakistan thrice. In 2017, the problem of smog was going on in both Punjab and North India, when Shahbaz Sharif wrote a letter to the then Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. In this, he had demanded a mechanism to deal with the problem of smog and the issue of pollution.
