Government oil companies released new rate lists on Tuesday (November 01) morning, in which oil prices were seen low in many cities of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. However, there was no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in the four metros of the country including Delhi-Mumbai.
According to the new prices released by state-owned oil companies, petrol has become 35 paise cheaper in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district (Noida-Greater Noida) of Uttar Pradesh. Its new prices are Rs 96.65 per liter. At the same time, the price of diesel has been cut by 32 paise and its new price has gone up to Rs 89.82 per liter. There has been a slight drop of one paise in the price of petrol and diesel in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Here petrol has now become Rs 96.57 per liter and diesel Rs 89.76 per liter. On the other hand, the prices of petrol and diesel have also come down in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Here petrol has fallen by 82 paise to Rs 107.30 per liter and diesel by 77 paise to Rs 94.09 per liter.
It is worth noting that during the last 24 hours, there has also been a big fall in the prices of crude oil. Brent crude fell by $ 1.40 to $ 94.83 per barrel. At the same time, WTI has also declined by $ 2.22 to $ 86.01 per barrel.
