More than 24 thousand deaths were registered in July, but behind this sudden increase in the number of deaths, a new thing has come out.

 

 

Only 8,673 deaths have been recorded from Corona in February. Whereas, 6,329 (42%) old deaths have been added to these figures, due to which this number has crossed 15 thousand. A similar game happened in January. 14,752 deaths were recorded in January, to which 5483 deaths were added.

 

 

Kerala recorded the highest number of deaths

Kerala was at the forefront of linking the deaths in the first and second waves of Corona in February. Kerala recorded 6217 deaths in February. Apart from this 936 deaths were recorded in Maharashtra, 759 in Karnataka, 488 in Bengal, 406 in Tamil Nadu, and 401 in Gujarat.

 

Lowest daily deaths since January 10

Fewer than 200 daily deaths were recorded on Friday, the lowest since January 10, according to health department data. At the same time, 22,191 new corona patients also appeared. This number is the lowest since December 31.

 

Death toll above five lakh

So far 5,10,905 people have died due to the corona epidemic in the country. Of these, 1,43,532 people died in Maharashtra. Apart from this, 63,338 people died in Kerala, 39,738 in Karnataka, 37,962 in Tamil Nadu, 26,091 in Delhi, 23,419 in Uttar Pradesh, and 21,094 in West Bengal.

 

The Health Ministry said that out of those who have died due to coronavirus infection so far, more than 70 percent of the patients also had other serious diseases. The ministry said on its website that its data is being matched with the data of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
