Prime Minister Narendra Modi is interacting with the 54-member Indian athletes team going to the Paralympics from August 24 to September 5, 2021, via video conferencing. Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur was also present on the occasion. PM Modi met India's Olympic contingent for breakfast at his residence on Monday after applauding Indian players for their stellar performance at the Tokyo Olympics from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Independence Day. During this, he fed Neeraj Chopra his favorite churma, and also gave an ice cream party to PV Sindhu.
