When India broke our heart, our neighbor supported... Diljit Dosanjh's film Sardaar ji 3 will be released in Pakistan

Diljit Dosanjh's much awaited film Sardar Ji 3 has been in controversy since the trailer was released. The film is to be released on June 27 but its problems are not reducing. Actually, Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has been cast in this movie, after which all this ruckus started.

The film will be released abroad.

After this, it was decided that the film will not be released in India but it will be released abroad. A few days ago, while sharing the trailer of the film on Instagram, Diljit had announced that it would be released abroad, however, Pakistan was not mentioned. Diljit himself had also given a statement in this matter that things are not in his control. At the same time, now the neighboring country has also given a good news about Diljit's film.

Pakistan's PVR shared the post.

Amidst the controversies, there is news that Sardar Ji 3 is going to be released in Pakistan on June 27. According to a post shared on Instagram by Pakistan-based movie theatre Cinegold Plex, the film starring Diljit and Hania is set to release in the country on Friday. "The wait is over. Sardar Ji is back! Sardar Ji 3 hits the big screens on 27th June with comedy, drama, and desi madness! Ready for a full Punjabi entertainer? Watch it first on Cinegold Plex. Book your tickets now," they wrote in the post. The post was shared a few days ago. Cinegold Plex has theatres in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.

Why the uproar over the film?

Sardar Ji 3, a popular Punjabi comedy franchise, has come under scrutiny due to Hania's casting. After the terror attack in Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists, Pakistani artists were completely banned in India. Due to this, many people consider Diljit's decision to promote the film as 'insensitive'.

Makers had given clarification.

The makers had given their clarification in this matter. They say that the film was shot around February while the Pahalgam attack happened in April, so there is no connection between these two things. They said, "We stand united with our country and our fellow countrymen at this sensitive time. Keeping this in mind, we have decided not to release the film or any of its promotional material in India until the situation becomes favorable."
