The two leaders took stock of the progress in their bilateral relations and cooperation on multilateral forums including the Quad. PM Modi gave this information on the social media platform X. Let us tell you that the Quad is a security group dialogue between four countries India, Japan, America, and Australia. In the year 2007, the then PM of Japan Shinzo Abe gave the idea, and the Quad was formed in the year 2017. It is believed that the Quad has been formed to deal with the growing influence of China.
