Akshar played a stormy inning of 65 runs

As long as Suryakumar and Akshar were at the crease, it seemed that Team India would take this match out. However, Suryakumar was dismissed in the 16th over and the 91-run partnership for the sixth wicket broke. Surya also played an inning of 51 runs in 36 balls. He hit three fours and three sixes in his innings. As soon as Surya was out, the Indian innings also collapsed. Akshar was dismissed after playing a stormy inning of 65 runs in 31 balls with the help of three fours and six sixes.

 

Biggest innings batting at number seven

This innings of Akshar is the biggest innings for India while batting at number seven in T20. Earlier this record was in the name of Ravindra Jadeja. He scored an unbeaten 44 runs. At the same time, Dinesh Karthik is third with 41 not out and former cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is at number four with 38 runs. That is, Akshar left all three Jadeja, Karthik, and Dhoni behind with this innings.

 

India lost the match by 16 runs

However, he could not win against Team India. The Indian team could only manage 190 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. India lost this match by 16 runs. Apart from Akshar and Suryakumar, only Shivam Mavi could touch double figures. Mavi played an inning of 26 runs in 15 balls. In his innings, he hit two fours and two sixes. Now the third and deciding match will be played on Saturday.
