Self-preparing food along with work
Shubhlal Yadav, who came from Gonda in Purvanchal, told that he is traveling with pulses, rice, cereals, flour, spices, vegetables, and utensils to prepare food. Yadav told that during the Yatra when he rests, he cooks food. After resting for a while, they go on putting up posters of Rahul Gandhi in front of the yatra. He told that there are 20 members on the team. They have been on the journey as well since day one. Will be with you till the last stage.
10-10 members work in 2 shifts
Mukesh Thakur, a member of the team, told us that 20 people work in 2 shifts. 10 people work during the day and the remaining 10 people work at night. One team puts up posters of Rahul Gandhi ahead of the yatra, while the other team removes the posters and banners after the yatra is over. The resting team prepares food for all teammates. He told that he gets 15 thousand rupees every month. Apart from this, Rs 500 is also given separately every week. The company itself makes arrangements for food and drink.
Haven't met a family for 3 months
Mukesh told that we are going on the yatra from Kanyakumari from 7th September. We have been traveling for 80 days. It's been 3 months since I met the family. I or any member of the team who misses the family can talk on mobile only. Can't even make video calls all the time. Sometimes there is no network here, sometimes the phone is not charged.
