Preparing to control Corona: Central government is planning big decisions by April 30; New strategy after Bengal and UP panchayat elections

Posted on 21st Apr 2021 03:19 pm by rohit kumar

The central government is preparing to take major decisions around April 30 to control the tsunami of Corona. West Bengal Assembly Elections and Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Elections end on April 29. Soon after, the government wants to implement some decisions that will control the corona and do not spoil the economy either. For this, a new model is being developed after understanding the good and bad experiences of last year's lockdown.

The government's strategy is also that to overcome the pace of infection, about 400 million people get vaccine safety cover in four months and no decision can affect the pace of this campaign. The decisions related to train and air services will be taken by the concerned ministry.

Assembly elections are due in Uttar Pradesh in the first half of 2022. The window of implementation of major decisions is open before the central government from April 30 at the countrywide level. Because of the seriousness of the situation, these may also be implemented from the night of 29 April.

Unlock-2 model likely to be implemented

According to sources, the model of Unlock-2, which started on June 29 last year, can be implemented again. In these, the activities necessary to drive the economy were started with strict guidelines. All the unnecessary activities were kept under control.

The task of this entire campaign can be entrusted to the task force of top officials of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and NITI Aayog. It will be commanded by the Prime Minister's Office. The central government has made it clear that the entire lockdown will not be imposed, as it could jeopardize both the vaccination campaign and the larger goals of the economy.

Can be closed from school to college to cinema

Schools, colleges, educational institutions, and coaching institutes can be run online. There will be no offline classes.

Cinema halls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theaters, bars, auditoriums and seminar venues, etc. will remain closed.

Social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural, religious, and other big events can also be banned for some time.

Thoughts on the Corona Curfew of the Night

The central government can bring the provision of corona curfew across the country from 10 am to 5 am. Important activities will also be exempt from this. Also, industrial units, national-state highways, cargo loading-unloading, trains, buses, people returning from aircraft can be allowed to drive auto-taxis to reach the destination. A similar model was implemented in Unlock-2 last year. During this time new patients started decreasing.
