New Delhi, March 9 (IANS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday extended greetings and felicitations to CISF personnel and their families on the eve of CISF's Raising Day 2015.
In his message to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the President said: "I am happy to learn that the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is celebrating its 46th Raising Day on March 10, 2015."
"I extend greetings and felicitations to all ranks of the CISF and their families. I wish the Raising Day celebrations every success," he said.
He said CISF is a dedicated professional force which provides security to a wide range of critical infrastructure assets of the nation.
"Rapidly changing technology and ever increasing public awareness calls for continuous adaptation, skill upgradation and acquisition of new technologies by the CISF. I have no doubt that the CISF will continue to scale greater heights in the years to come," the President added.
Showing his respect for the gallant officers, Mukherjee said: "On the occasion of the Raising Day of CISF, I pay my respect to the gallant officers and men who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty and will remain the pride of the nation."
