New Delhi, March 27 (IANS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday greeted the nation on the eve of Ram Navami, the Hindu festival that marks the birth of Lord Ram.
"On the joyous occasion of Ram Navami, I extend greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens," the president said.
"May the example of Rama as Maryada Purushottam inspire us to achieve nobility in thought, word and deed. May the venerable Lord instill in our people just and righteous conduct in the face of trials and tribulations," he said.
Ram Navami will be celebrated across India on Saturday.
