Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority member-secretary RK Khulbe informed that the High Power Committee is currently in existence in Uttarakhand state under the auspices of the Supreme Court. Apart from this, the principal secretary of the state is an ex-officio member of the Home and Prisons and Director General of Prisons Committee. About the above, Secretary Home and Inspector General, Prison, all District Judge, President, District Legal Services Authority have been directed to ensure action. The District Magistrate, SP, SSP of all the districts of the state have also been instructed to follow the Covid-19 Rules and Guidelines regarding the release of prisoners on parole from prison to their respective places in the sequence of the above order. In compliance, be sure to take appropriate action. The committee has also instructed all CMOs, including DG Health, to ensure that the prisoners released on parole make a corona check before release.
