Rain expected in seven states
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh on Monday. It will be cloudy in some areas. However, the weather is likely to clear after that.
Madhya Pradesh: Cold will increase in most areas of the state
Meteorologist PK Saha said that from Monday, there is a possibility of increasing cold in most areas of the state including Bhopal. The days have turned cold again due to rain on Sunday. Bhopal recorded 1.2 mm of rain till 8:30 am. Due to the cold wind blowing at a speed of about 20 km, the mercury dropped by 5 degrees to 21 degrees during the day. According to the Meteorological Department, Monday will be a cold day in Delhi. That means it will be cold. People will be seen shivering because of the meltdown. At the same time, from January 25 to January 27, there will be moderate to dense fog in some areas. Fog will trouble people from January 28 to 29. The minimum temperature of Delhi from Monday to Wednesday will be 7 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature is expected to be 6 degrees Celsius on Thursday and Friday. The maximum temperature is likely to remain 15 to 18 degrees Celsius throughout the week.
On Sunday, Delhi broke the 122-year record of the highest rainfall in January. Due to the activation of Western Disturbance, the rain of the last two days has set a new record in Delhi. As of Sunday morning, 88.2 mm of rain has been recorded, which is the highest in January in years since 1901. The highest ever recorded before this is 79.3 mm of rain in 1989.
Hilly areas: Rain and snowfall will continue

Maharashtra: It may rain for the next two days in Mumbai.
