Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya today by worshiping the land and said that Ram temple is a symbol of national unity and spirit and this will enhance the economy of the entire Ayodhya region. He began his address with a proclamation of 'Siyawar Ramchandra Ki Jai'. Describing the Ram temple as a symbol of the rich heritage of Indian culture, the Prime Minister said that the wait of centuries is ending today. This will inspire faith and resolve not only for generations to come but for the whole of humanity for eternity.
Modi said that the waiting for Ram temple for many centuries is complete today. He said, 'See the amazing power of Lord Rama that buildings were destroyed, there was an attempt to eradicate existence, but Rama is still in our mind, the foundation of our culture.' The Prime Minister said that just as Independence Day symbolizes the spirit of sacrifice and freedom of millions of people, the construction of Ram temple is a symbol of unbroken tenacity, sacrifice, and determination for many generations.
Sir Sanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, who was present at the foundation stone, recalled LK Advani, former president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and said that crores of Hindus have fought and sacrificed for the temple construction. He said that Advani, who led the rath yatra, would be sitting in his house watching the event. Some so many people can come but could not be called because of Covid. Both Modi and Bhagwat expressed confidence that the grand Ram temple to be built in Ayodhya, like the name of Shri Ram, will be a symbol of the rich heritage of Indian culture and will continue to inspire and guide the entire humanity.
Modi said, 'There is no aspect of life that is not inspired by our Ram. Ram is the faith of India, the idea of India. He said that Rama belongs to all, belongs to all and his ubiquity shows the character of unity in the diversity of India. The temple of Ram will become a modern symbol of Indian culture, a symbol of our eternal faith, a symbol of national spirit. Ram is a confluence of ancient and modernity. '
Through his address, Modi was seen preparing the ground for the upcoming elections, especially in the 2022 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. He described the Ram temple as a symbol of national unity, culture, and all communities. He said that Lord Rama has taught us to perform duty. We have learned how to perform our duties.
The Prime Minister said, 'We have been shown the path of realization and research, out of the opposition. We have to connect these rocks of Ram temple with the addition of mutual love and brotherhood. ' Modi said that in addition to Indonesia, Cambodia, Iran, Sri Lanka, Thailand, etc. many forms of Ramayana are seen in the world's most Muslim population. There is enthusiasm to start the construction of Ram temple in all such countries.
He said that wherever the feet of Lord Ram is lying in the country, a Ram circuit is being constructed there. Keeping aside the recent controversial statement of Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Modi described Nepal as the birthplace of Sita.
Bhagwat said, 'There is a wave of happiness all over the country. The hope of centuries is a joy to be fulfilled. But the biggest joy is that the confidence and self-realization needed to make India self-reliant is starting today.
He said, 'The whole world is struggling to find a solution to the Covid crisis. Two routes (perhaps his reference to Muslim and Christianity) were tried. Now the world is looking towards the third. We have a third path, which we can give to the world. '
Modi said that the Ram temple will bring a comprehensive economic change in Ayodhya and all areas will benefit from it. He said, 'When people from all over the world come to worship Lord Rama, new doors of opportunity will open. This will further strengthen national unity. '
The Prime Minister gave a message on this occasion without naming China. He said that India is powerful because it is written in Ramcharitmanas 'Bhayya Binu Hoi Na Priti' and if India were not powerful, peace could not be sustained. The new map of the temple has been prepared by the Sompura brothers. It will be the largest Hindu temple in the world. In this, 50,000 devotees will be able to worship together.
