'India has faced cross-border terrorism for decades
Kamboj also recalled the special meeting held in India that resulted in the historic Delhi Declaration. Also, during the current Presidency of India, a Presidential Statement against Terror was issued in December. He said India faced cross-border terrorism for decades before the world took notice. We have lost many innocent lives and have faced terrorism with a policy of zero tolerance. We will continue to do so as our Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) has said that we will not rest till terrorism is rooted out.

Kamboj also quoted Prime Minister Modi's statement that as the world's largest democracy, India has used its prestige and experience for the benefit of the whole world. During the last two years, we raised our voices in favor of peace, security, and prosperity. We did not hesitate to raise our voices against the common enemy of humanity like terrorism. We were the voice of the entire Global South. We reiterated our commitment to basic principles including multilateralism, the rule of law, and a fair and equitable international order.
