Chief Minister Manohar Lal will keep these portfolios to himself. In return, two other portfolios will be given to Dushyant Chautala. The decision regarding which departments will be there will be taken in the first week of January.

After the merger of the departments, Home and Health Minister Anil Vij also has a crisis in his departments. However, even in the cabinet expansion in 2021, a department of Vij has been cut. For this reason, there is still doubt about the reduction of their portfolios in the cabinet reshuffle to be held in January 2023.
