In reply, Titans won easily by scoring 170 runs for 2 wickets in 17.5 overs with the help of Jos Buttler's unbeaten 73 runs in 39 balls with six sixes and five fours, his 75 runs for the second wicket with opener Sai Sudarshan (49 runs) and 63 runs for the third wicket with Sherfane Rutherford (30 runs not out in 18 balls, three sixes-one four). RCB's next match is against Mumbai Indians on April 7 at Wankhede. The Gujarat team will face Sunrisers in its next match on April 6 in Hyderabad.
