Report of Moga, the hot seat of Punjab: Malvika, who came into politics due to social work, supported brother Sonu Sood more than Congress, AAP's craze among voters

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who came into the limelight with the help of the poor during the Corona period, is still busy in social work. Whether it is to take the injured victims of the accident in the middle of the night to the hospital or to work for the disabled. And when a brother is ahead to help others, how can a sister be behind? His sister Malvika Sood is also continuously doing social work in Moga. This time the Congress party has given him a ticket from the Moga assembly seat, after which he and his brother Sonu Sood have entered politics.

The problem is that the people of Moga city praise the work of the Sood family, but will those who appreciate it vote? This is not a guarantee. For this reason, Sonu Sood himself has left all the work and has stuck in Moga to help his sister. It would not be wrong to say that Malvika Sood has more support for her brother's image than the Congress party for her first victory in politics. Realizing this point, his promotion has been designed in such a way that the role of Sonu Sood looks bigger.

Mumbai's PR agency is looking after work, the influx of people watching Sonu

Far from the traditional political campaign, Malavika is professionally running a public relations campaign. Mumbai's PR agency is looking after his work. The color of his posters in the Moga assembly hall is pink and it is different from the traditional poster color of Congress. This poster of his remains a topic of discussion in the city. During the election campaign, Sonu Sood's house in Moga is thronged by those who see him. Voters are eager to take selfies with the film star. The long lawn of his Kothi is full of people.

Full care of the visitors to the Kothi

Malvika Sood is contesting elections for the first time, but every visitor in her house is being taken care of. In one corner of the lawn, tea and pakodas are kept on the table. There are chairs to sit on. Voters have to struggle a lot to meet other politicians, but there is no such problem in their house.

Malavika's entry spoiled everyone's equations

The entry of Malvika Sood first in the Congress and then as a party candidate in the elections has worsened the equations of all the political parties in the Moga assembly seat.

Congress: The party sidelined its sitting MLA Dr. Harjot Kamal for Malvika Sood. When Malavika entered the party, Dr. Kamal also threatened to revolt, but the leadership did not listen.

BJP: Dr. Harjot Kamal rebelled against Congress, then BJP felt that breaking Congress MLA would kill him. Harjot Kamal's entry into BJP has cut the cards of BJP District President Vinay Sharma and Dr. Seemant Garg, who are preparing for the elections in the party. Now both are walking with lotus, but half-heartedly.

AAP: Aam Aadmi Party has played bets on Dr. Amandeep Kaur by leaving Moga seat candidate and its state spokesperson Navdeep Sangha at the last moment. Sangha was accused of distributing posts by taking money.

SSM: Navdeep Sangha rebelled against AAP for not getting the ticket and went to the Samyukta Samaj Morcha (SSM) of farmer organizations, where he got the ticket the very next day.

Akali Dal: The party has given a ticket to Barjinder Singh Makhan Brar, son of its senior leader Jathedar Tota Singh, from this seat. Barjinder contested from the same seat in 2017 and lost. Joginder Pal Jain's son Akshit Jain was also a ticket contender in the Akali Dal. The Jain family has an old feud with Tota Singh's family. The biggest problem for Brar is becoming a Jain family.

City decides defeat and victory

There is a total of 2,03,541 voters in the Moga assembly seat. Out of these 1.36 lakh, voters are in Moga city, while 65 thousand are rural voters. There are 46 villages in this assembly constituency. The major villages here include Ghallakalan, Jhidak, and Daroli Bhai. Of the 1.36 lakh voters in Moga City, 70 thousand are Hindu and SC voters.

The victory or defeat of a candidate in the Moga seat is decided by the voters of the city. There are about 25 thousand voters in Moga city, who are swinging. Who takes care of them? And how does it work? This will be something to be seen. It is said that the one who has captured these 25 thousand voters, his road to victory can be easy.

All the major development works were done by the Akali government.

The voters of Moga attribute the development of the city to the Akali government. He says that during the time of the Akali government, mini secretariat, court, Godhewal stadium, municipal corporation, and hospital were built here. In the matter of development, the people here are very disappointed with Dr. Harjot Singh Kamal, who was the MLA of Congress for the last 5 years and this displeasure of the people is now overshadowing the BJP.

People say that Harjot Kamal did nothing for development in 5 years. Dr. Harjot Kamal is the son-in-law of Moga. His wife is from here. After marriage, Harjot Kamal settled in Moga itself. They go to college etc.

Voters said- change dominates

Swarn Gill, who does business in Moga, says that the voter is in the mood for change this time. Voters think that for almost 70 years, only two parties are ruling by swapping, so a third party should get a chance. This time the Aam Aadmi Party has the upper hand in the city.

At the same time, Shamila Mittal, who is taking a walk in the city's Nature Park, believes that Malvika Sood's balance is heavy at the moment. However, Shamila also says that her victory was certain if she had joined the Aam Aadmi Party instead of Congress and entered the fray.
